Every Halloween Village needs a spooky museum, and the Snow Village Halloween is no exception. This lit building includes great animation showing the rotating interior of the aquarium. The moss on the exterior adds to the creepy architecture. The building is a Collectors’ Edition and will only be produced in 2008 exclusively by Department 56. Available only for 2008, this Monster of the Deep museum adds a watery haunt to Department 56’s Snow Village Halloween collection. The exceptionally well-detailed ceramic building features a decaying moss-covered façade, interior lights, barren trees, and two aquarium tanks. Watch as the tanks rotate to reveal ghastly sea animals emerging then disappearing into the murky depths. You’ll even see a few tentacles escaping! This limited-edition piece is hand numbered (13,000 in total) and makes a great start to a new Halloween village or a fittingly frightful complement to a seasoned collector’s set.
